All God's Children
Program Description
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (N.A.E.Y.C.) believes that "a high quality early childhood program provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of families." All God's Children preschool is committed to providing just such an environment. Children learn best through a planned, play-oriented approach to education and our curriculum reflects this practice by including sharing and conversation time, stories, songs, finger plays; creative art activities, construction/building opportunities, hands-on math experiences, games and fine and gross motor activities. We will also provide many cooking and science/nature activities and celebrate birthdays, holidays, and special events that affect the children's lives. Our classrooms and activities are designed to stimulate imaginations. We incorporate a healthy balance of child-directed and teacher-directed activities, indoor and outdoor experiences and active and quiet times throughout each day.
